The Yanagiba is a Japanese used as a sashimi , suitable for creating beautiful cross-sections with a pulling motion.
This item is a single-beveled made of high-carbon steel. There are some spot-like dark marks, possibly from storage, but the sharpened edge is a clean silver color of high-carbon steel. Please check the photos.
It has been sharpened, so you can use it immediately upon arrival. Please be careful when unpacking.
It is inscribed with 特製 (Special) and the Aritsugu brand.
There is no major damage, but there is some overall signs of use.
